Being avid movie buffs, these clients wanted to convert their raw, unfinished basement into a complete home theater experience. There were many challenges to overcome including; miscellaneous mechanicals throughout the area, heat ducts along the ceilings and inconveniently located support beams. A virtual design was created incorporating the client’s desires and material selections.

Furniture was placed in the design to show traffic patterns and ensure that the room would flow effortlessly. After final approval, a layout was created which included, an electrical plan, cabinet elevations and construction documents to make certain the project would run on time and on budget. During the construction, mahogany was hand picked for color and grain.The granite tops were fabricated from selected slabs to guarantee a proper color match. A mahogany bar was constructed to fit perfectly in the snack area. State of the art components were installed to create a true theater experience.
