Delafield Kitchen by Kerzner Remodeling and Construction

An original Wausau prefab, this home has been transformed through many custom remodeling projects. This kitchen was among the last of the original room to be renovated. The client loves to entertain and sees himself as an amateur chef. He desired all the amenities of a professional kitchen and style that would complement the updates of prior projects. A number of “virtuals”were created and below is the final rendering.

Traditional oak cabinets were used to blend with the existing woodwork. “State of the art” appliances included a Wolf cook top, Sub-Zero refrigerator, and a Broan, “Mirage” exhaust fan. Oversized stainless cabinet hardware complements the traditional style giving a hint of a professionals chef’s kitchen. A small black 1/2” round molding, just below the crowns, ties the black granite countertops to the cabinets. Turned spindle moldings are artfully placed on the stiles of the base cabinets to add flair. Leaded glass door panels are placed in the corner and at the wine bar.
